An Introduction

I could open this first "official" blog post by saying "Welcome to my blog." But it seems a bit presumptive to welcome seasoned blog readers, when I'm the newcomer. So in this debut post I'm not going to try to wow you with my wittiness, or my brilliant insight. Instead, I'll try to keep things simple. Mostly for my own sake.

I go by "LadyDraconix" online. I am a fledgeling graphic/web designer, a voracious reader of books, a moderately obsessed gamer, a writer and a lover of coffee.

I don't make any claim to being a font of great wisdom or wit or expertise - the purpose of this blog is simply a place for me to comment on things that interest me, re-post the genius of others, and generally ramble on (though not about my personal life). Most of my posts will likely be about graphic/web design, or art, or books and I will do my best to label them appropriately and clearly. If you have constructive criticism or if you like what I've said, please leave a comment. If comments devolve into flame wars (which I'm really hoping they won't) be aware that they will most likely be deleted.
