For the comic book/graphic novel fans
This Week's Recommendation This Body's Not Big Enough for Both of Us ~ Edgar Cantero This Body's Not Big Enough for the Both of Us is - largely - a murder mystery, written in grandiloquent style and veering madly between noir, comic book panels described in prose, sitcom, genius and outright ludicrous. A.Z. Kimrean, Private Eye... No, wait. A.Z. Kimrean, Private Eyes... Um. A.Z. Kimrean is/are brought on to solve the murder of the son of a mob boss, stop a gang war, and save an undercover cop. It's a tall order for detective(s) fresh from a stint in a mental health facility, and decidedly of two minds over just about everything. The book is over-the-top in the best way and I highly recommend it! Read if: You enjoy Douglas Adams-esque descriptions and humor. You enjoy comics/graphic novels. You enjoy some well-grounded ridiculousness. Warnings: Violence. Lots of word play. Sex. Swearing.
